Preparing for a home health caregiver application in Miami-Dade is easier when your information is accurate, complete, and ready for review. Ameri-Care Professional Service, Inc. uses an application and verification process for caregiver and clinician opportunities. A complete submission can help the team understand your discipline, service area, contact information, and readiness for the next step.

Start with accurate contact information

Use an email address and mobile number that you check regularly. Confirm that your name is spelled consistently across your application and credential documents. If your phone number changes, notify the agency promptly so scheduling or application messages do not go to an outdated contact.

Identify your discipline and service area

State the discipline or role for which you are applying and the Miami-Dade ZIP codes where you can work. A caregiver opportunity may depend on discipline, patient needs, schedule, location, and current openings. Do not claim availability for a shift unless you can reliably meet its location and time requirements.

Organize credentials before submitting

Prepare current license or certification information when applicable, including the credential number, issuing state or organization, and expiration date. The agency may request additional documentation, verification, background-screening authorization, or other employment materials. Submitting a credential does not mean it has been approved; the agency must review and verify it.

Understand the application and shift process

The public caregiver shift board may show administrative details about open opportunities. Review the required discipline, ZIP code, date, time window, and payer or scheduling notes before applying. The board does not display patient medical records, and applicants should never request or post protected health information in a public form, comment, or chat.

After an application is received, the agency may review eligibility, discipline, location, availability, credentials, and other requirements. A coordinator may contact you for clarification. Applying does not guarantee selection, employment, assignment, hours, or a specific shift.

Questions to ask before accepting an opportunity

  • What discipline and credential are required?
  • What ZIP code, dates, and time windows apply?
  • Which documents must be verified before assignment?
  • Who is the coordinator for questions about the opportunity?
  • What information belongs only in a secure employment or onboarding channel?

Review current opportunities through the Caregiver Shift Board. For registration or administrative questions, use the Clinician and Caregiver Registration portal. Ameri-Care Professional Service, Inc. serves Miami-Dade County.
